About this test
What this test measures
Hormones are the messengers of your body. They act as signals that travel through your bloodstream, telling your cells and organs what to do and when to do it. There are at least 50 different identified hormones in our body. They help regulate mood, weight, sex drive, fitness, energy, and more, so it's no surprise that even small imbalances can have big impacts your health and well-being.
This test measures 4 important markers to understand your hormonal health:
- Cortisol - Stress hormone that regulates mood, motivation, and fear. Elevated levels may indicate a health complication that is causing your body to create improper quantities of the hormone.
- DHEA sulfate (DHEAS) - Sex hormone that regulates the production of testosterone and estrogen.
- Total testosterone - Sex hormone known as the male sex hormone. It regulates sex drive, bone mass, fat distribution, muscle mass and strength, and the production of red blood cells and sperm.
- Estradiol - A form of estrogen. It is naturally produced in the breakdown of testosterone and has many similar functions including regulating sex drive and erectile function.
Who should take this test
Taking a men's health panel can be beneficial at any stage of your life. You may also consider this at-home test if you are experiencing changes in your health that may be related to a hormonal imbalance.
These may include changes to your sex drive, appetite or metabolism, mood, or energy levels.
You must be age 18 or older to take this test. This test is intended only for people assigned male at birth. Due to state restrictions, this test is not available to residents of New York.

What to know about hormones and your health
What is a hormonal imbalance?
A hormonal imbalance happens when your body has too much or too little of one or more hormones. Sometimes these imbalances happen for reasons we can't control. Other times, they can be a response to stress or other lifestyle changes. Hormonal imbalances can impact your entire body but common signs include changes to your sex drive, appetite or metabolism, mood, and energy levels.
Test yourself discreetly and talk to a healthcare provider
Get your test to collect your sample discreetly at home and review results right from your Cue Health App. Plus, it's easier than ever to discuss your results with on-demand telehealth visits.
What can you do?
Living a healthy lifestyle can help you be proactive about your hormonal health. But in many cases, hormonal imbalances happen from factors we can't control. If you have a hormonal imbalance, talk with your healthcare provider about lifestyle changes and treatment options. For example, medications may be available to help you improve your hormone levels.
