About this test
What this test measures
In the United States, nearly half of all adults are living with some type of cardiovascular disease.¹ Regularly monitoring your heart health can help you understand your risk and adapt your lifestyle to prevent it.
This comprehensive test measures 6 key markers to help you evaluate your heart health:
- Total Cholesterol: This lipid plays a critical role in many bodily functions, but high levels can contribute to heart complications.
- Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL): Often referred to as "bad" cholesterol, elevated levels of LDL can cause heart-related complications.
- High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL): Known as the "good" cholesterol, HDL helps transport excess cholesterol from your bloodstream to your liver.
- Total Triglycerides: This essential fat can cause complications if present in high levels.
- Hemoglobin A1C: This marker gives an average of your blood sugar over the past few months, potentially signaling prediabetes or diabetes.
- High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP): This protein can help determine your risk of developing coronary artery disease.
Who should take this test
The Heart Health Panel is recommended for anyone who wishes to monitor their cardiovascular health and proactively check their risk of heart disease. It is particularly recommended for men over 45, women over 55, and those with a lifestyle or family history that increases their risk of cardiovascular disease. Heart disease often does not produce noticeable signs and symptoms, so proactive monitoring can be vital in preserving your health.
You must be age 18 or older to take this test. Due to state restrictions, this test is not available to residents of New York.

Will my insurance cover the cost of the test?
Cue test kits are not currently covered by insurance, but we are actively working with health insurance companies to get coverage for Cue Health solutions. (Please note, Cue COVID-19 tests are covered by insurance. Check with your provider for details.) However, many Cue test kits are FSA/HSA eligible, which means that your health benefits may cover them. We recommend connecting with your insurance provider directly to inquire about their policies and your plan. We work hard to keep our pricing accessible, and in most cases, the price of a Cue test is comparable to the out-of-pocket costs for testing in a clinical setting.
I ordered my kit. What should I do next?
Get started by downloading the Cue Health App. Please ensure you’ve installed the latest version (1.16 or newer). Follow step-by-step instructions within your app and sample collection kit to collect and mail in your sample. If you have trouble registering your test kit, please reach customer support from the Cue Health App. You may also contact support@cuehealth.com or 1 (833)-CUE-TEST.
How will I receive my results?
After the lab has completed your test, you will be able to see your results in the home screen of the Cue Health App. You’ll be notified when your results are ready via email or text message, depending on the preferences you set in the App. Your health data is sent confidentially, and complies with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. To learn more, read our privacy policy.
Health test results can vary from person to person. We recommend speaking with a healthcare provider if you want to better understand your test, or if you have unexpected or abnormal results. You may also receive additional information from our team via email within 24 hours. If your results are invalid and you want to request a replacement test, please contact customer support at 1 (833) 283-8378 or email cuecaresupport@cue.me.
Will my package be shipped discreetly?
Your package will be delivered discreetly by Amazon, our delivery fulfillment partner. Your order will arrive in an Amazon box with no test names or Cue Health-branded images. In most cases, Cue Health will not appear on your package; however, it may be printed on your shipping label on rare occasions.
Are at-home test kits available in every state?
Due to state restrictions, Cue mail-in lab tests are not available to residents of New York. Additionally, the Colon Cancer Screening, the Women’s Sexual Health Panel, and the Men’s Sexual Health Panel is not available to residents of New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. These restrictions do not apply to Cue’s COVID-19 test.
What support will I get with my results?
What health test results mean can vary from person to person. If you have questions or want to discuss your results, we recommend speaking with a healthcare provider. You can go to the Care tab in your App to consult a provider and access 24/7 virtual care. You might also want to talk with your healthcare provider if you are concerned about your results. If you test positive for certain conditions with a Cue test, you can request a video chat with a clinician through Cue Care™ at no extra cost. If you receive a prescription, you’ll just have to cover the cost of your medicine. Please check the Cue Health App or our Cue Care FAQs for more information on which conditions may be eligible for Cue Care medication delivery.
The price of your test includes the costs for an independent physician or nurse practitioner to review your information, determine whether testing is appropriate, and provide follow-up on your results, plus fees for other administrative and operational support. Of the $75.20 to $94.00, $10.00 is payable to Wheel Provider Group for its test review and clinician consultation services.
